Du 27 au 30 mars 2017 : voyage à Dublin des 4e, 5e et 6e années en immersion anglaise
Unforgettable memories
It all started on 27th March when we, the pupils of 4th, 5th and 6th years of the immersion section, went on a four-day trip to Dublin. The plane took off at 4.00 pm and we arrived in Dublin at around 7.00 pm. A coach drove us to a fantastic youth hostel located near the world-famous neighbourhood of Temple Bar.
On the first evening, we walked through the lively streets of Temple Bar. The second day started with a guided tour of the city organised by the 6th years. We stopped at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin Castle, Merrion Square and Trinity College. In the afternoon, we could enjoy some free time before heading to our next activity, the visit of a museum. The group split to visit either the Irish Museum of Modern Art or the National Museum of Ireland. We finished the day with a bit of shopping and went back to our hostel. And so our second day came to an end.
On the following day, we took the coach for a guided tour of the Irish countryside. We first visited the ruins of Glendalough, an ancient village, and its magnificent lake. Then we headed to the medieval town of Kilkenny for a last visit and lunch.
On 30th March, we left Dublin, our heads filled with unforgettable memories.
